So black blobs on a white backdrop — that's cool? I guess Wisconsin is officially hip.
In a piece published by The Cut (New York magazine's style and culture site), Emilia Petrarca asks the question "Why is cow print everywhere?" because, apparently, cow print is everywhere.
Here we thought it was just something we saw grazing about America's Dairyland.
To back up her claim, we see English pop singer Dua Lipa sporting a cow spotted suit (and phone case) on Instagram and a herd of cow-inspired fashion products from around the web. Skirts, tops, bags, socks, dresses, boots, you name it.
Petrarca writes that "everyone is dressing like a cow. Meghan Markle wore cow-print heels in January. Kylie Jenner wore a cow-print bathing suit on vacation. Ariana Grande and Kendall Jenner both painted their nails in a cow print."
That's right: A quick Instagram search also reveals cow-print nails are very much a thing. So is cow-print eye makeup.
At this point, it seems only a matter of time before a Wisconsin entrepreneur feels behooved to take advantage in some way.
Teen Vogue agrees: Cows are in. Milk it for all it's worth.
